Mark Murrell & Jane Jazrawy are co-founders of CarriersEdge, and creators of the Best Fleets to Drive For program. Having worked together for 20 years, at 4 different companies, the pair have delivered education and performance improvement solutions to more than 2 million people at companies around the world, in industry sectors as diverse as transportation, mining, manufacturing, finance, hi-tech, retail, and government services.

With the launch of CarriersEdge in 2005, and Best Fleets to Drive For in 2008, Murrell and Jazrawy have focused on helping North American trucking companies improve the overall quality of their drivers and both are active writers, speakers, and industry advocates.

Andrea's strong interest in food and nutrition led her to the University of Guelph, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Applied Human Nutrition. She is passionate about helping others to feel better about themselves through nutrition and health coaching. With a family present in the trucking industry her entire life, she grew up seeing the impact that a truck driver's lifestyle can have on their health, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to help drivers reach their health and wellness goals

Kelly McNaughton

Kelly is the Regional Clinical Manager where she manages clinicians across Southern and North Eastern Ontario. Kelly has been designated to several key Shepell initiatives and committees including the development of its Centre of Excellence for Training and presently development of a Post-Traumatic Stress Program to be rolled out by Morneau Shepell in June. She consults to, trains and coaches both managers and employees.

Tracy Gustafson is a Senior Manager in the Private Company Services Group and started with PwC in January 2014, after operating her own practice for 5 years. Tracy Gustafson is a CPA, CA, graduate of Western and alumni of the Toronto PWC office. Tracy’s focus is on private corporation tax planning and preparation, estate planning and personal tax. Tracy has experience in a variety of industries in the private corporation sector.

Marilyn Daniel: Ms. Daniel is the Chief Operating Officer of Titanium Transportation Group Inc. and Vice President of the Trucking Division at Titanium. She is one of the founders of Titanium Logistics Inc.(TLI) established May of 2002. Later expanded to include Titanium Trucking Services Inc. as established in 2005. Her role has been fundamental in sales development, recruiting, safety & compliance and development of internal processes and strategic planning for Titanium.

Brandon Clark
Transportation Practice Leader, Dalton Timmis Insurance

Brandon Clark is the Transportation Practice Leader at Dalton Timmis Insurance and has been working in the transportation insurance industry since 2001. Before starting his career, he went to Mohawk College where he graduated from the insurance program. After working for 2 years with an MGA for Lloyds of London, he spent the next 13 years underwriting transportation business for Northbridge Insurance. By the time he left Northbridge, Brandon had achieved his Chartered Insurance Professional designation and was an Executive Underwriter, underwriting some of the largest for-hire carriers in Canada as well as providing coaching and mentoring to his peers. It’s with this experience that led Brandon to joining Dalton Timmis in October 2015 with the goal of strengthening an already strong transportation practice.

John Oldfield

John started trucking in the early 70's to put himself through school. He went on to drive long-haul until 1989 when an opportunity arose to work inside fleets in a risk management role. John has been working as a specialty transportation insurance broker for the Dalton Timmis Insurance Group for the past 18 years.

Mario Da Silva
Director, Corporate Services, Challenger Motor Freight

Bio

Mario has been employed with Challenger Motor Freight since 1995 as the Director, Corporate Services where he oversees the claims processing and many of the loss prevention programs for auto, cargo, WSIB, security, Occupational Health and Safety, and fuel management. Challenger is a North American motor carrier providing transportation services for customers in Canada, the United States and Mexico with LTL, truckload, dedicated contract and logistical services on a wide range of flatbed and van-type equipment. The Challenger group of companies operate 1,500 power units and 3,500 trailers with terminals in Cambridge, London, Montreal, and Vancouver. Mario graduated from Sheridan College in 1992 with high honours in the Loss Prevention program and in 1994 with honours in Computer Programming. He obtained his Fellowship Risk Management designation through University of Toronto and is a member of the Global Risk Management Institute. Mario has completed his Chartered Insurance Professional designation through the Insurance Institute of Canada.
